My sisters keeper is a great book written by Jodi Picoult. The book is about a young girl named Kate that has cancer and she needs many transplants like bone marrow and even kidneys, but those transplants have to be done with relatives, but Kates brother Jesse isn't a match. So Kates mother has another baby with the perfect DNA. Her name is Anna. She has to go through all of the medical sergeries and transplants to help her sister get well. When she is old enough to realize what is happening, she sues her parents for her right to her own body. That is all I have read so far. But if I were in that position I would feel the same way. I would be angry at my parents for treating me horribly but I would still want to save my sister Kate who says I am her only friend.
I think the book is perfect for me I love the kinds of books where some one does something you really dont expect them to do. Like sueing your parents for the rights of your own body. I thought Anna would just live with this and the book would be about he and her depressed life. But I was really surprised about this I never would have guessed.
I think this is a really good book and i reccomend it for everyone.
